Toileting
Many children experience problems with toileting, which may or may not be associated with autism.
Behaviours you may recognise in your child
- Bed wetting.
- Reluctance using the toilet at nursery, school or elsewhere.
- Needs support with getting dressed as part of toilet routine.
- Soiling - for example, after toilet training, knowingly doing a poo in underwear rather than using the toilet.
- Smearing - for example, fascinated by poo and likes to play with it.
