We’ve been continuing to improve Hillingdon Council’s website to help you find information more quickly and complete tasks online more easily.
What’s new and improved?
- A refreshed, modern look that works on all devices
- A navigation-led design that helps you get to the right information faster
- An improved search that allows for questions, spelling mistakes and provides more accurate results
Thank you to residents who shared their feedback through our Accessibility and Editorial Panel. This has helped shape the improvements we’re making to create a better website experience for all.
What's available on the new website?
Since the launch of Phase 1 in November, we’ve been steadily moving more of our services onto the new website.
Alongside the sections made live in November (Housing, Council and democracy, Rubbish and recycling, we have now brought over the following areas:
- Adult social care
- Benefits
- Births, deaths and ceremonies
- Business
- Children, young people and families
- Council tax
- Education and learning
- Environment
- Health and wellbeing
- History and heritage
- Libraries
- Parks and leisure
- Planning and building control
- Safer homes and neighbourhoods
- Transport, roads and parking.
Coming soon
As part of our improved website, we’re also working on:
- a more personalised and user-friendly My Account
- a simpler, more intuitive reporting system for things such as missed rubbish and recycling collections, fly-tipping, and street issues.
These updates will make it even easier to manage your requests and reports.
Please note: While this work is underway, you may be redirected to the old website for certain council services, so you can still access everything you need.
Ongoing improvements
As well as these improvements, we will continue to update and improve our website on a daily basis, taking into consideration all feedback received from residents and stakeholders.
