A scoping consultation is an early stage in creating a Local Plan where the council asks the community, businesses, and other stakeholders what issues the plan should focus on. It helps identify the key challenges and opportunities in the area such as housing, jobs, transport, and the environment before any detailed policies are written.
By gathering views at the start, the council can make sure the Local Plan reflects local priorities and considers the things that matter most to the people who live, work, and invest in the area.
We have provided the following pages to provide background information on the Local Plan in Hillingdon.
