Sign up for food waste recycling
Residents who sign up to our service will receive a food waste set, which includes:
- a kitchen caddy to collect the food waste
- a roll of caddy liners (food waste bags) to insert into your caddy (store your caddy liners in a dry place)
- an external food storage bin to keep the full bags until your food waste is collected.
New way to request
Love Clean Streets (LCS) is our new reporting system for issues and concerns in Hillingdon. You can also sign up for food waste collections through Love Clean Streets.
To sign up for food waste collections:
- Go to the Love Clean Streets website:
hillingdon.lovecleanstreets.com - Log in to your LCS account.
If you haven't signed up to Love Clean Streets yet, you can find steps and tips on creating an account on our Guidance on using Love Clean Streets web page. - If you haven't added your home address to your Love Clean Streets account, do this by selecting 'My account' and adding your address.
- Select 'Requests' in the header and choose 'Add'.
- For Category group, select 'Request more bags - recycling and food'.
- Choose the Category 'Food waste bin and kitchen caddy'.
- Select the 'Create request' button.

Please note:
- We'll deliver food waste sets to your doorstep.
- If it has been more than 10 days since you signed up for food waste recycling and you have not received your set yet, you can query undelivered recycling bags and sets.
