Catering guidelines
- To maintain the atmosphere, food and drink are not permitted in the main seated area during the hour leading up to your ceremony.
- After the ceremony, you're welcome to serve food and drink, which can be prepared in advance and stored behind the partition wall.
- Catering setups are permitted in front of Cart Shed Workshop 3, near the Steward's Room steps.
- No deep/shallow fryers or gas cylinders are allowed inside.
- All gas bottles must be removed after the event.
- Protective floor coverings are required to prevent stains.
- Oil must not be disposed of down drains.
- Outdoor cooking is welcome in the Gravel Courtyard (Bury Street side). We allow hog roasts and barbecues, provided they are run by professional catering companies.
- All catering and bar equipment must be cleared and loaded by 11pm.
What must the caterer provide?
- A full list of cooking equipment
- Public Liability Insurance
- PAT testing certificates for all electrical items
- Hygiene certifications
