Promoting your event through us

Getting an audience to come and see your show can be a challenge. Those hiring Hillingdon's theatre spaces are responsible for their own publicity, but with enough notice there's lots of ways to get the word out.

PAID advertising: £250

Cost added to final venue booking costs and includes: 

  1. Listing in our council's e-newsletters: Discover Hillingdon (quarterly) and Hillingdon People (monthly) - to more than 30,000 subscribers, in addition to season launch announcement, linking to full season of events online.

  1. Social media post on Hillingdon Theatres' social media accounts Instagram and Facebook Compass / Facebook Winston and shared by Hillingdon Council, via profiles with more than 30,000 followers.
    Reels and SM videos also encouraged and shared, where possible.

Submit details of a theatre show or event

Once you've completed the online form, and ahead of the deadline, email your artwork to artsvenues@hillingdon.gov.uk.

Please note:

  • You are responsible for making sure you have permission from the image copyright holder to use the images or text you supply for any publicity. Any fines for misuse of copyrighted materials will be passed on to the hirer. 
  • Images should not include any overlaid text. All relevant information, including the event title is shown next to the image, so will not need repeating.
