Primary school applications
If you have a child born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023, you must apply for your child to start primary school in September 2026 by Thursday 15 January 2027.
The deadline for on-time applications was Friday 15 January 2027.
Before you apply
- Read the school admissions brochure. It contains information about making an application, choosing your schools, frequently asked questions and all of the schools' individual criteria and contact details.

How to apply
To give your child the best possible chance of being offered their preferred school place, ensure your application is received on time.
The closing date for on-time applications is Friday 15 January 2027.
You can still submit a late application online until mid-August 2027. However your application will not be processed until after Friday 16 April 2027 (national offer day).
