Junior school applications
If your child was born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020, you may need to apply for a junior school place for September 2027.
The deadline for on-time applications is Friday 15 January 2027.
Before you apply
- Read the school admissions brochure and starting junior school leaflet. It contains information about making an application, choosing your schools, frequently asked questions and all of the schools' individual criteria and contact details.
How to apply
To give your child the best possible chance of being offered their preferred school place, ensure your application is received on time.
The closing date for on-time applications is Friday 15 January 2027.
You can still submit a late application online until mid-August 2027. However your application will not be processed until after Friday 16 April 2027 (national offer day).
Apply for a junior school place
The eAdmissions website has been created by the 33 London local authorities and Surrey County Council to provide a website where parents can easily apply for a school place online.

- If you choose to apply online, you must not complete a paper application as well.
