Instructions for garden waste collection

  1. Carefully cut large twigs and branches so they measure no more than 2 inches in diameter and 2 feet long and fit in the garden waste sack.
  2. Make sure the sacks can be lifted by our collection team.
  3. Keep all your garden sacks within your property boundary until collection day.
  4. Ensure each garden waste sack has your household's tag attached to it.
  5. On your collection day, please leave your garden waste sacks at the front of your property before 6am. Where possible, keep sacks inside your property boundary and off pavements and roads to avoid causing an obstruction.

Assisted collections

Residents who can't physically move their recycling to the property boundary, and have no one to help, can request an assisted collection from their front door.
