The visitor centre is located inside the beautiful Tudor Manor Farm House and provides an excellent introduction to Manor Farm's rich history, documented since medieval times.
About the visitor centre
- Housed in a high-status Grade II listed Tudor building, with many original features remaining, including one of the oldest examples of domestic wallpaper still to remain on its original wall in England.
- 2 permanent display rooms with artefacts, interactive displays, video, and written interpretation, with temporary exhibitions in the Provost Parlour.
- A collection of 18th and 19th century farming tools is housed next door in the Pram Shed.
- Free admission, including temporary exhibitions.
- Supported by a 2007 grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Opening hours
Due to a current shortage of volunteers, Manor Farm House can only be opened during the week and at weekends upon request by emailing artsvenues@hillingdon.gov.uk.
