What is included and how to view it
We are required to keep a public register of any regulatory actions we take to clean up contaminated land (as defined under Part IIA of the Environmental Protection Act 1990).
The register contains official documents relating to the remediation of contaminated land, including:
- remediation notices
- appeals against remediation notices
- remediation declarations
- remediation statements
- appeals against charging notices
- designation of special sites
- notification of claimed remediation
- convictions for offences under Section 78M of the Act
- guidance issued under Section 78V(1) of the Act
- other matters prescribed by regulations.
Viewing the register
You can view the register for free at the Civic Centre, Monday to Friday during normal office hours.
Please note: Photocopying documents may incur a fee.
