Voter ID

The requirement for voters to show photo ID at polling stations applied to local elections and by-elections, recall petitions and UK parliamentary elections.

This means that voter ID is required in the upcoming elections taking place in all borough wards.

  • Registration
    The last date to register to vote in this election is midnight on Monday 20 April.
  • Postal vote
    The last date to submit a postal vote application is 5pm on  Tuesday 21 April. 
  • Proxy vote
    The last date to submit a proxy vote application is 5pm on Tuesday 28 April.
  • Voter Authority Certificate
    The last date to submit a voter authority certificate application is 5pm on  Tuesday 28 April.
