2023: Wildlife corridor at Spider ParkHide
This project will explore the potential of the watercourse in Spider Park and create initial designs for future improvements and enhancements.
Enhancements
- Increased the types of plants and animal life to improve biodiversity.
- Modifying the shape of riverbanks to improve water flow and create better habitats.
- Creating more space for water, away from residential areas will increase flood storage capacity and reduce the risk of flooding.
- Enhancing the quality of water in Yeading Brook West and adding meanders and two-stage channels to the watercourse will create wetland features.
