Wetland projects

Current project: River restoration

The project will restore and enhance the ecological function of a local river to benefit wildlife and the community. By managing water flow better, the project aims to reduce the risk of flooding and improve the environment.

Enhancements

  • Introducing meanders and creating a 2-stage channel system will boost habitat diversity.
  • Adding large logs to the river will improve natural processes.
  • Planting seeds, adding gravel, and managing vegetation in shaded areas will improve habitats.
