Childminder support groups
Our childminder support groups provide a space to discuss any childminding related issues or concerns and are usually held in our children's centres. Please contact the relevant centre for more information.

Buddy scheme
The buddy scheme is a support programme for new childminders who are ready to apply for their registration to Ofsted.
A 'buddy' is an experienced childminder who, having successfully completed a training and assessment programme, provides advice on what to expect at the Ofsted registration visit and how to prepare for it.
Once registration has been completed, a buddy can also offer support and advice on being a self-employed childminder.
If you are interested in becoming a buddy, email Zelda Parker at zparker@hillingdon.gov.uk or call 01895 556539.
