Challenge a Fixed Penalty Notice (FPN)

After you submit your challenge

After submitting the form, you'll receive an email with a reference number. You can use this number to track your request.

While we consider your request, the FPN will be suspended, which means no further action will be taken until a review officer reaches a final decision.

If your challenge is successful, no further action will be taken and you will receive no further documentation from us.

If your challenge isn't successful, you will be expected to pay the outstanding penalty amount, at the original discounted rate (if applicable).

What happens if I don't pay my FPN?

Failure to pay a fixed penalty notice will result in further action being taken against you, which may include prosecution in a court of law.
