Apply for an additional HMO licence

In order to submit your application you will need to upload the following documents. Please have these available in an electronic format before proceeding:

  • Valid Gas Safety Certificate (dated within last 12months ) - if applicable

  • Valid Electrical Installation Condition Report, EICR (rented properties EICR last only five years)

  • Valid Fire alarm Certificate compliant with BS5839:2019 Part 6 (must be within the last 12months )

  • Emergency Lighting Certificate (required only where property is 3 or more storeys)

  • Fire Risk Assessment report (must be within the last 12months)

  • Portable Appliance Test Certificate (dated within last 12months)
