This summer, we'll be holding lots of fun events and activities throughout the borough for this year's Summer Reading Challenge.
Events will include:
Books, Beats and Beyond - Get creative and let music and rhythm take centre stage by making a colourful collage, your very own story, song lyrics or poem, or share a dazzling book review.
Build to the Beat - Get ready to click, stack, and groove! In this creative LEGO® session, explore stories filled with rhythm, music, and movement—then bring the beats to life using LEGO®.
Running your Own Race - Meet the Author - Join Abena Eyeson for an inspiring event as she introduces readers to her middle-grade novel 'Running My Own Race', which has been included in the 2026 Summer Reading Challenge book list.
More details, including dates, locations and booking details, will be added soon.
