You can recycle most household batteries (AA, AAA, C, D, 9V and coin button batteries) at various locations across the borough.
If a battery is leaking fluid, carefully wrap it in a plastic bag before placing it in the battery bins.
Please note:
- Car batteries can be recycled at most Halfords stores and at Harefield Civic Amenity Site.

To recycle scooter and e-bike batteries, please contact the manufacturer (or the store where you bought the product from) - they have a responsibility to take these batteries from you and to recycle them safely and responsibly.
