If you have received a summons and believe it is incorrect, you may be able to dispute the summons if:
- you have already paid the amount in full
- the council has not followed the procedures set down in law when trying to collect your council tax.
If you believe 1 of these applies, you can submit your dispute with evidence to support your claim such as proof of payment or details of the issue.
