London Living Rent is a type of intermediate affordable housing for middle-income Londoners who want to build up savings to buy a home. London Living Rent provides high quality rented homes on stable tenancies, with rents based on 1/3 of local household incomes. Money you save on rent can go towards a deposit for your own home.

Who is eligible?
- Applicants should have a gross annual household income of no more than £60,000 per year.
- Applicants must work or live in London.
- Applicants must be unable to purchase a suitable home to meet their housing needs on the open market.
Savings
- You must be saving to purchase your home on a shared ownership basis within 10 years
Priority
Priority for properties is given in the following order:
- social tenants - council and housing association tenants
- returning Ministry of Defence personnel
- those threatened with homelessness
- those on a high band on the council register (Bands A, B and C)
- those who live and work in Hillingdon but are not yet registered
- those who live in Hillingdon but work elsewhere
- those who work in Hillingdon but live elsewhere
- those with no connection to Hillingdon
