Who can use our service?
Our service is available to Hillingdon residents who are ready to quit smoking and fall into one of the following groups:
- under 18 years old
- pregnant or recently had a baby (partners included)
- have mental health issues, including substance misuse
- have a disability or long-term condition
- working in routine or manual occupations, such as construction workers, HGV drivers, waitresses, cleaners and porters.
What our service offers
- Expert motivational and behavioural support and advice
- Free access to an experienced NHS stop smoking adviser at a location and time that suits you
- Contact details for Hillingdon pharmacies that can help you to quit
- If appropriate, smoking cessation medications, such as Champix or nicotine replacement therapy (normally patches and gum) available at prescription cost (or free if you do not pay for your prescriptions)
Please note: If you do not meet our criteria above but you live or work in Hillingdon, behavioural and motivational support may still be offered.
