Sara, from Northwood, became a foster carer to make a difference to a child's life by providing love, support and care at a vital time in their lives.
Since joining the council in 2022, she's cared for several children long term, and currently fosters 3 children. She also provides short-term respite care for babies and children when needed.
Sara was the council's first parent and baby carer, where she created a nurturing and structured environment for a young mother and her newborn baby.
