Please note: Vans and commercial vehicles will not be able to use the service.

Accepted items

Residents can bring any number of the accepted items listed below:

• small electrical appliances, such as toasters, kettles, laptops and TVs
• bulky waste, including furniture, mattresses, bagged carpet (no rolls) and white goods (eg fridges and freezers)
• household items not accepted in weekly collections (eg broken toys, wood, glass, textiles)
• scrap metal, old tools
• garden furniture and equipment.

Garden waste trial

As part of a trial, residents can now bring up to 3 bags or containers of garden waste to our Pop-up Waste Drop events.

Bring your garden waste in bags or containers that can be safely emptied by our collection team. Your bags and containers will be given back to you once they’ve been emptied.

Please note: We cannot accept garden waste in black sacks or recycling bags.

Unaccepted items

• General household rubbish
• Household dry mixed recycling
• Hazardous waste (chemicals, asbestos, petrol or diesel)
• Car parts or tyres
• Pressurised containers
• Business waste
