If English isn't your first language, join one of our ESOL courses where you will improve your reading, writing, speaking and listening, as well as your vocabulary, grammar and punctuation.

Choose between a range of daytime and evening courses, where you can:

  • build your confidence
  • gain new skills and qualifications to either find a good job or continue with your studies.

We also offer shorter introductory ESOL courses at community venues, starting throughout the year, to help you get started with your learning quickly.

Before you enrol

Before you enrol on an ESOL course, you must take a skills and support assessment to identify your current skills and make sure you join the most suitable class at the right level. Our tutors will be on hand to talk about which course is best for you.
