Register to vote
We encourage all eligible residents to register on the electoral register. If you are not registered, you lose your right to vote.
After you have registered to vote, make sure you have suitable photo ID so you are eligible to vote on election day.
In order to register to vote, we will ask for your name, date of birth, address, and National Insurance number. If you're unable to provide this information, we will contact you for more evidence.
If you wish to vote anonymously, you may do so if you are eligible. For information on anonymous registration, visit the GOV.UK website.
