A rip-roaring farce that’s sure to topple any government from the Master, Ray Cooney.
Richard Willey, a Government Junior Minister is all set for a night of passion with one of the opposition’s secretaries, Jane Worthington at the Westminster Hotel. What he didn’t count on though was the body he discovers trapped in his hotel room’s sash window! Enter Richard’s hapless private secretary, George Pigden to assist with an increasingly elaborate series of invented stories and manic cover-ups in this riotous comedy where the truth must be avoided at all costs.
But things can only go from bad to worse for Richard with the arrival of his loving wife, plus Jane’s distraught husband Ronnie. And that’s not to mention the frustrated hotel manager, an unscrupulous waiter and the bossy Nurse Foster.
Out of Order is farce at its finest from the Master, Ray Cooney.
