We are contacting all our council tenants to make sure we have the correct and up to date information about you and your household.
We have some questions for you to answer. The information you provide will help us understand your needs and make sure our services work well for you and everyone in your home. By understanding everyone in your household’s requirements, we can make sure that our services are suitable for you all, and not just the main tenant.
Some of the questions are optional and help us understand whether different people have different experiences of our services (for example, by age group, disability, ethnicity, religion or belief, sex, or gender identity). This helps us make informed decisions that shape future services and policies, creating a more inclusive and effective experience for everyone.
Everyone is unique and needs a different level of support and adjustments depending on their own situation. We are continually changing and improving our services. The information you provide will help us identify gaps, improve accessibility, and tailor offerings to ensure they work for you and the people living with you in your home.
Everything you tell us will be kept private and safe, following our privacy policy.
How we will get in touch
In May and June 2026, we will be carrying out a postal campaign and some face-to-face data collection in Sheltered Housing.
We previously carried out an email and text message campaign in December 2025.
Service Insights may contact you by post, email, telephone, or in person.
If you receive the survey in the post, it will come from us with the Hillingdon Council logo and all our contact information.
If we have an email address for you, you may also receive an email. The email address will say Hillingdon Council.
You may also receive a phone call from us. This will come from an 020 number.
If you prefer paper, we can send the questions out in the post. We will also send a pre-paid envelope for you to return it to us.

Working with a specialist partner
We are working with a research company called Service Insights Ltd to do this project. They are independent from us at Hillingdon Council and specialise in gathering customer information for housing associations. Your feedback will be used for research purposes only.
