Register or access your account

The easiest way to access your council tax information is online. You can view your balance, previous payments and bills. You can also set up a direct debit for your peace of mind.

To access your account, you will need to use the online key shown on the notice you have received, or on your most recent bill.

The benefits of an online council tax account

Using our online facility, you can:

  • check the council tax band or rateable value of properties within Hillingdon
  • apply to pay by Direct Debit
  • notify us of a change of address

Once you are registered and verified, you can:

  • view your account details, print off a copy of your bill
  • view details of your current council tax reduction and housing benefit entitlement
  • update to paperless billing
  • change your contact details
  • change your bank details
  • apply for single person's discount
  • cancel single person's discount

Your council tax bills and reminder notices display your unique online key, which can be used alongside 1 or 2 other details such as your postcode, telephone number or (if paying by direct debit) the last 3 digits of your bank account - to access your account. If you do not have your online key, it is possible to register your account using other information, providing it is held on our records.
