The council is proposing to introduce charges for those who receive appointeeship services.
Under the proposed charging structure clients:
- with savings, capital or assets of less than £1,000 will not be charged
- living in residential care settings will be charged £11 per week
- receiving support in the community (non-residential care) will be charged £15 per week.
Please note: No decision will be made until the consultation has closed and responses have been carefully considered by the Cabinet Member for Adults, Children, Health and Care, in consultation with the Corporate Director of Finance and Corporate Director of Adult Social Care.
