Create a lasting tribute to someone special with a memorial rose in the peaceful grounds of Breakspear Crematorium.
There is a wide variety of pre-planted roses in different colours throughout the grounds, and it may be possible to choose a preferred colour or specific garden from those currently available. We will do our very best to accommodate your request.
Memorial plates
A memorial plate is placed in front of the rose during the lease period.
The memorial plate can include up to 125 characters of inscription (must include the person's last name) and can include a motif.
Each rose can have up to 2 plates.
Lease
Memorial roses are available for dedication for an initial period of 5 years with the option to renew. During the lease period, we accept full responsibility for the care and upkeep of the rose, including replacement should this be necessary.
Please note:
- The council accepts no responsibility for the upkeep of the plate.
- Unless it is renewed at the end of the lease period, the plate will be removed from its location 1 month after the expiry date.

How to order
Complete the Breakspear memorial application form and email to it bcrematorium@hillingdon.gov.uk.
Please note:
- Full payment must accompany your application. We are able to accept most credit and debit cards. If paying by cheque, please make payable to 'London Borough of Hillingdon'.
- It takes approximately 6 to 8 weeks from placing your order to delivery.
- The council reserves the right to alter any application that is deemed unsuitable and to change the design of any memorial without giving prior notice.
Upon completion, a letter will be sent to the applicant advising them of the location of the rose and memorial plate(s).
