The Garden Niche: Sanctum 2000 offers a dignified, above‑ground memorial option for cremated remains. They are situated in front of the covered walkway of the East Chapelm, facing the main lawn.
The niche is made of grey granite with a black fascia and gold gilded lettering. Each is designed to securely hold 2 sets of cremated remains, and includes a personalised granite plaque inscribed with wording.
Items such as photo plaque, gilded or hand-painted motif can also be added.
Lease
The Garden Niche is leased for an initial period of 10 years, with an option to renew.
Prices
60 letters are included in the cost, with additional lettering charged per letter.

How to order
Complete the Garden niche application form and email to it bcrematorium@hillingdon.gov.uk.
Once we have received your order, a letter plan will be sent. This will enable you to see what the wording will look like and for any amendments to be made before the plaque is inscribed.
Please note:
- Full payment must accompany your application. We are able to accept most credit and debit cards. If paying by cheque, please make payable to 'London Borough of Hillingdon'.
- The council reserves the right to alter any application that is deemed unsuitable and to change the design of any memorial without giving prior notice.
