Our Book of Remembrance provides a lasting, dignified memorial for loved ones.
Displayed at Breakspear Crematorium, within the Hall of Memory (next to the East Chapel), it includes several volumes - each dedicated to a different quarter of each year.
The books, which are displayed in protective cases, are on view throughout the year, open to the current date so inscriptions can be seen on each anniversary of a death or other specified date.
The minimum entry is 2 lines:
- the name of the deceased on the top line
- a personal inscription on the second line.
Entries of 5, 8 or 10 lines can include a floral, animal, bird, badge, crest or shield emblem, which may be of significance of the family.

Applying for an entry in the book
To ensure memorial entries are inscribed for the 1st anniversary or requested date, please submit your booking request by the following dates:
- January to March: By the September before
- April to June: By the December before
- July to September: By the March before
- October to December: By the June before
Complete the Book of Remembrance application form and email to it bcrematorium@hillingdon.gov.uk.

- Full payment must accompany your application. We are able to accept most credit and debit cards. If paying by cheque, please make payable to 'London Borough of Hillingdon'.
