Our Gardens of Remembrance provide a calm and comforting place for anyone visiting loved ones who are laid to rest at Breakspear Crematorium.
The gardens are open 365 days of the year and staff at Breakspear Crematorium will be pleased to assist visitors with any enquiries they may have.
Scattering remains in the gardens
Following a cremation, remains can (if desired) be returned to the earth in the gardens.
If you wish to witness the scattering, appointments can be arranged for a Wednesday or Thursday every hour between 9.15am and 2.15pm.
An attendant will escort you. If you would like a minister or celebrant to speak on your behalf, please arrange this separately.
The Gardens of Remembrance is an area available to everyone. Those seeking solace of the quiet contemplation and those who appreciate the beauty of well-maintained gardens are very welcome to visit.
